Realme has officially unveiled the mid-range smartphone Realme P2 Pro, as well as the budget tablet Realme Pad 2 Lite. Both new items will hit retail later this month.
The developers equipped the Realme P2 Pro with a 6.7-inch curved OLED display supporting Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. A panel with a peak brightness of 2000 cd/m² is used. The screen is protected from mechanical damage by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The smartphone is housed in a housing that protects internal components from moisture and dust according to the IP65 standard.
At the top of the display there is a hole that houses the 32-megapixel front camera. The main camera combines a 1/1.95-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with support for optical stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with a focal length of 16 mm. An LED flash is provided to take high-quality pictures in low light conditions.
The hardware basis of the smartphone is the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 microprocessor, which is complemented by 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB storage. For efficient cooling, an evaporation chamber with an area of 4500 mm² is provided. The power source is a 5200 mAh battery with support for SuperVOOC fast charging up to 80 W. According to the manufacturer, charging from 0 to 50% takes 19 minutes.
Realme P2 Pro runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. The device will be available in gray and green body colors. As for the retail price, the version of Realme P2 Pro with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM costs $260, for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM you will have to pay $300, and the older model with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM will cost $330.
Another new product is the affordable Realme Pad 2 Lite tablet computer. It received from the developers a 10.95-inch LCD display with support for Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The design includes a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP main camera.
The device is built on an eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 microprocessor combined with 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. You can expand the disk space using a microSD memory card. Autonomy is provided by an 8300 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 15 W.
The sound subsystem includes four speakers, and the rear panel is partially made of genuine leather. Realme Pad 2 Lite runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. The version of the tablet with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM costs $180, and for the model with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM you will have to pay $200.
