Itel has unveiled the Power 70, a budget smartphone with an impressive battery life. The built-in 6,000 mAh battery is complemented by a 4,000 mAh charging case, which increases the total energy reserve to 10,000 mAh. The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of 700 nits, a MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate processor, and a 13 MP main camera. At the same time, the device remains relatively light and thin, and its cost does not exceed $85, including the charging case, which is offered as a bonus at the start of sales.

Itel Power 70 is aimed at users who value long battery life and an affordable price. The smartphone is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, and the charging case included in the starter kit expands its capabilities, bringing the total capacity to 10,000 mAh. However, wireless charging is not supported – the additional module is connected directly to the USB Type-C connector. At the same time, fast charging with a power of 18 W is provided, allowing you to quickly replenish the charge.
Despite the increased battery capacity, the device has retained balanced dimensions: 165.92 × 77.31 × 7.98 mm, and its weight is 200 grams. Such parameters provide ease of use, without turning the smartphone into an overly bulky one. The external charging case increases autonomy, but at the same time makes the design a little more massive. Itel emphasizes that even without a plug-in module, the Power 70 is capable of working for several days without recharging, which makes it the optimal choice for users who value long battery life.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 700 nits brightness. The manufacturer calls this technology Sunlight Display, claiming that the screen remains readable even in direct sunlight. However, the effectiveness of this technology is questionable, since high brightness does not always provide comfortable image perception in intense daylight. An additional advantage of the display is support for control with wet and oily fingers, which increases the ease of use in difficult weather conditions or when playing sports.
The hardware basis of the Power 70 is represented by the MediaTek Helio G50 Ultimate chipset, designed for budget mobile devices. Depending on the configuration, the smartphone is equipped with 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and the built-in storage is offered in 128 or 256 GB options. However, the device uses eMMC 5.1 flash memory, which is a typical solution for entry-level devices. At the same time, it is possible to expand the memory using a microSD card, which allows you to compensate for the limited bandwidth of the built-in storage.
The photo capabilities of Itel Power 70 are quite modest. The main module is represented by a 13-megapixel camera that supports video recording in 1080p resolution. The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor that provides sufficient quality for video calls and selfies. Considering the budget segment of the device, the developers focused not on advanced photo capabilities, but on basic functionality that is suitable for everyday use.
Additional features of the Power 70 include two Nano-SIM slots, a loud speaker, a 3.5 mm jack for wired headphones, and a fingerprint scanner built into the side power button. However, the device lacks NFC, which prevents the smartphone from being used for contactless payments. For users accustomed to paying with a smartphone, this may be a significant drawback.
The Power 70 with a charging case costs less than $85, but it is unclear whether the additional module will be included in the standard package or will be a separate accessory. The smartphone is available in black, silver, navy, and gold, allowing users to choose the design that suits them best.
