Last week, the Mobile World Congress 2025 electronics exhibition was held in Barcelona. At its stand, Doogee presented the latest and most relevant smartphones, tablets, and other gadgets. Three new devices attracted special attention: the Doogee Blade GT Ultra smartphone with bright backlighting, the advanced rugged Doogee S200 Plus smartphone, and the company’s first smartphone with a built-in projector, the Doogee V Max Play.

The Doogee V Max Play smartphone is aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. The main feature of the device is the built-in LED projector, which can form an image up to 100 inches diagonally with a resolution of 480p and automatically adjust the focus. Although the resolution is not very high, it will be quite sufficient for camping conditions.

It is important to note that the smartphone is capable of projecting video for a long time – to prevent the projector from overheating, an active cooling system with a fan is provided. The impressive 22,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging of 33 W is responsible for high autonomy in general.

Otherwise, the Doogee V Max Play is a pretty advanced mid-range smartphone. It features a large 6.78-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip with 12 GB of RAM, and the storage capacity is an impressive 512 GB – obviously so that you can download a lot of videos and music for hiking.

The main camera has a resolution of 108 MP. It is complemented by an 8 MP wide-angle module, as well as a 20 MP night vision camera with infrared illumination. In addition, on the back panel of the Doogee V Max Play there is a bright camping lantern that can illuminate a large area around.

The Doogee S200 Plus is a classic rugged smartphone, which, however, has a distinctive feature – on its back cover there is a 1.32-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

This display has many uses. At a minimum, it can display the time, date, weather information, and notifications from apps. You can choose from a variety of watch faces and customize this screen to your liking. The outer screen also allows you to interact with your calendar, viewing your schedule and reminders.

It can also be used as a viewfinder when shooting with the rear camera, which will be useful for both self-portraits and regular portraits – a person will be able to see how he is positioned in the frame. Finally, you can launch YouTube on this screen – it is better to use the main display to watch videos, but the external one will suffice when listening to music.

In other characteristics, the Doogee S200 Plus resembles the V Max Play. It also has a large display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone is based on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The smartphone is made in the Mecha 2.0 design and has a thickness of 19.1 mm. Massive dimensions are due to a capacious 10,100 mAh battery.

Finally, Doogee showed the Blade GT Ultra smartphone at its stand, which stands out among other rugged smartphones with its bright backlight on the back panel. It serves not only an aesthetic but also a practical function. For example, when the battery is discharged below 20%, the backlight starts blinking, warning you of the need to charge. During charging, it displays the charge level. Incoming calls are accompanied by light effects, and notifications from applications can be customized at your discretion. In addition, the backlight synchronizes with music, creating a spectacular light show.

The Light Elf app allows you to centrally control the backlight and automatically turn it off at night. You can customize the light effects for notifications and calls, choosing patterns and the speed of their change. The smartphone offers six preset backlight modes: Happy, Sad, Excited, Rhythm, OK and LOVE. They help express emotions through light effects.

Doogee Blade GT Ultra stands out not only for its interesting design, but also for its very advanced specifications. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.72-inch IPS display with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The main camera is represented by a 100-megapixel module with AI algorithms and a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens. The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.

The device is based on the eight-core 4-nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which is complemented by 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB drive. If necessary, it can be expanded using a microSD card up to 2 TB. The smartphone runs Android 14.

The Blade GT Ultra has a fairly thin body (10.5 mm), but because of this, the battery capacity is only 5500 mAh. Fast charging with a power of 33 W is supported. Like all the above-described new products, the body meets the protection standards IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H, which makes it resistant to water (including hot), drops and impacts.

Along with the older Blade GT Ultra, Doogee also showed more affordable versions — Blade GT Play and Blade GT Pro. They feature fewer backlight elements and less powerful Dimensity 7020 chips.
