Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition (that’s what the reissue is called) will offer the game familiar to fans, optimized for modern hardware and with all the add-ons included.

The remaster includes all four classic campaigns (Dawn of War, Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm), nine wildly different armies, over 200 maps and multiplayer for up to eight players.

They promise support for 4K, 64 bits and modifications (including 20-year-old ones), improved textures, improved lighting, a convenient camera, increased drawing distance and an interface optimized for modern screens.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition is expected to be released in 2025 on PC (Steam, GOG). The announcement was accompanied by a trailer comparing the remaster and the original game. A text translation into Russian has been announced.
