Asus has unveiled the new ROG Falchion Ace HFX keyboard in a compact 65% form factor, designed for gamers who value precision, speed and customization. The new product is equipped with ROG HFX analog magnetic switches and has a polling frequency of 8000 Hz.

Despite its compact size, ROG Falchion Ace HFX has all the keys you need, including arrows and navigation, while the keyboard length is only 315 mm – almost the same as 60% of keyboards, allowing you to save space on your desktop and at the same time get the functions of a standard keyboard .
ROG Falchion Ace HFX uses ROG HFX magnetic switches for crisp response and lightning-fast, ultra-precise performance. ROG HFX is enhanced with Rapid Trigger technology, which provides instant switch reset when moving up, increasing strafe potential with minimal effort. Additionally, Speed Tap mode optimizes directional changes in FPS games. When two opposite keys are pressed simultaneously, the last input takes precedence. This eliminates delay when counter-strafeing, ensuring instantaneous and precise direction changes.

For minimal latency and responsive keys, ROG Falchion Ace HFX uses a high-speed USB controller with an 8000Hz polling rate, delivering keystroke updates 8x faster than most gaming keyboards. This reduces input lag from the usual 1ms to just 0.125ms. Gamers can also find the optimal trigger point for gaming and typing with a customizable trigger range from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. Customization is accomplished using the multifunction button and touchpad on the back of the keyboard, as well as through Armory Crate or Armory Crate Gear software.

High-quality POM plastic is used to make the stem and lower part of the body, and polycarbonate is used for the upper part, which ensures smooth key travel. The innovative closed-wall stem design improves stability and prevents dust ingress, making the keyboard durable and reliable even under heavy use. Five layers of damping—two porous PORON and three silicone—absorb vibration from keystrokes and reduce noise for a smooth, comfortable typing experience. In addition, the keyboard has two pairs of feet, providing three ergonomic angles for a comfortable hand position while playing or working.
