Let us remind you that for EU countries the recommended price of the reference GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition is €1229. Nvidia partners usually release their own proprietary solutions that offer more efficient cooling systems, RGB lighting, and additional factory overclocking of the GPU. Typically, such solutions are offered at prices higher than the recommended cost.

Gigabyte will apparently offer one model at a recommended price for Europe – the GeForce RTX 5080 Windforce OC. Asus will include the GeForce RTX 5080 Prime OC model, which, according to information from the Finnish store Proshop, will also be offered for the recommended €1,229. Other versions cost 15–35% more than the recommended price.

For example, for the flagship version of Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme WaterForce with a liquid cooling system you will have to pay an additional 440 euros. Even for the GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming OC model, positioned just one step above the reference version, you will have to pay 190 euros more. This card is priced at 1,419 euros, which is due to the presence of a larger cooler and RGB lighting. In the US, the recommended price for the GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition is $999.
