Xiaomi announced the release of its smart bracelet Smart Band 9 Pro on the global market. The device, originally introduced in China, is already available from some UK and Japanese retailers, NotebookCheck reports.
The Smart Band 9 Pro smart bracelet became the first device of Xiaomi’s big October presentation to go on sale on the international market. At the last event, the company also presented the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones, Watch S4 smart watches and the new Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro tablets. Unfortunately, it is currently unknown when the remaining devices will be available for sale outside of China.
Xiaomi has announced that pre-orders for the Smart Band 9 Pro are already open in select countries. In the UK, the device is available for £62.99; in Japan, the smart bracelet is available for 9,280 yen (about $60).
Smart Band 9 Pro is equipped with a 1.74-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 336 × 480 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 cd/m2. The screen of the device is protected by reinforced 2.5D glass. The frame of the device is made of aluminum alloy and high-strength fiber polymer. The smart bracelet is equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, optical heart rate monitor and pulse oximeter, as well as an ambient light sensor. In addition, the smart bracelet is 5ATM waterproof and you can swim in it.
The new product claims to support Bluetooth 5.4, as well as satellite networks BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. The device is powered by a 350 mAh battery. There is support for magnetic charging. The battery is charged to 100 percent in 75 minutes. The manufacturer claims up to 21 days of device operation on a single battery charge.
Smart Band 9 Pro offers support for more than 150 different sports modes. The device is available in black, silver and pink versions. The Smart Band 9 Pro is available in a variety of plastic and leather straps.
