Xiaomi 15 Ultra received a huge block with four rear cameras with a range of equivalent focal lengths (EFL) from 14 to 200 mm. The main module uses a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor and is equipped with 23-mm Leica optics with an f / 1.63 aperture. The sensor has a dynamic range of 14 EV, which allows you to get bright and detailed pictures even in low light, as well as convey details both in bright areas and in the shadows. This module allows you to choose one of three focal lengths: 23, 28 and 35 mm.

The main periscope camera is built on a 200-megapixel Samsung HP9 sensor (1/1.4″) and is equipped with periscope optics with an EFR of 100 mm, which allows for 4.3x optical zoom. And thanks to the high-resolution sensor, the smartphone will also provide a hybrid 8.6x zoom without loss of quality. Xiaomi emphasizes that the large sensor in combination with optics with an f/2.6 aperture allows for better shooting in low light.

The wide-angle camera has a 50-megapixel Samsung JN9 sensor and 14-mm optics with an aperture of f / 2.2. Finally, the fourth module is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 sensor and a regular telephoto lens with an aperture of f / 1.8 and an EFR of 70 mm, which provides a three-fold optical zoom and a six-fold hybrid. The front camera is built on a 32-megapixel OmniVision OV32B image sensor and is equipped with optics with an aperture of f / 2.0.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra also has a powerful software stack to improve the quality of photos and videos. The smartphone supports shooting in 8K at 30 fps, as well as 4K at up to 120 fps (slow motion video). Moreover, both from the main module and from the telephoto lens. Ultra Image Stabilization technology, combining a 4-axis optical stabilizer and advanced electronic stabilization, guarantees smooth images without the need for a tripod.

The third-generation Photography Kit for Xiaomi 15 Ultra completes the picture. It includes a camera, a wrist strap, and a detachable grip with a shutter button, video recording button, zoom control, and exposure control. The grip has a built-in 2000 mAh battery that can work as a small power bank. The kit costs 999 yuan ($137).

Xiaomi 15 Ultra received a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a WQHD+ resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels), a refresh rate of 1–120 Hz and a brightness of up to 3200 cd/m². The manufacturer notes a reduced level of blue light, no flickering and compliance with circadian rhythms, which helps reduce the strain on vision. An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is installed under the screen, which works 25–56% faster than its predecessor and does not lose sensitivity when fingers are dirty.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, supplemented by 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a dual-section cooling system with an improved evaporation chamber. For data storage, versions with 256, 512 or 1024 GB of UFS 4.1 flash memory are available. A 6000 mAh battery with support for fast 90-W wired and 80-W wireless charging is responsible for autonomous operation. The device body is made of durable metal and meets the IP68 dust and moisture protection standard.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in the classic Leica black and silver color scheme, as well as in black, white, and silver-green versions. So far, Xiaomi has only introduced the new product for China, where its prices are as follows:

  • Xiaomi 15 Ultra 12 + 256 GB – 6499 yuan ($893);
