A major update to WhatsApp began rolling out this week that adds a new way to create and manage sticker packs without having to leave the app. The approach simplifies the process for users who create their own sticker packs.

WhatsApp already had the ability to create and save custom stickers. However, finding and sending such stickers to someone was not easy, since a huge number of stickers had accumulated over the time this feature existed.

To solve this problem, the developers added a feature to create sticker packs directly in the app. Thanks to this, users can create stickers and organize them in several folders. In addition, you can share the entire set of stickers with others at once instead of sending them one by one.

«”Whether it’s a sticker pack of your dog or a funny selfie of your friends, you can now add more fun and personality to your chats with unique sticker packs. Earlier this year, we introduced the sticker pack sharing feature, and now you can create and share your own sticker packs with your friends and family right in the chat,” a WhatsApp spokesperson said.

In addition to the sticker pack feature, WhatsApp has recently added a number of other new features. Messenger users now have access to an indicator showing how many people are online in group chats, and a feature for scanning and sending documents. iPhone users can also make WhatsApp their default calling and messaging app.
