The developers from the Ice-Pick Lodge studio are not yet in a hurry to release the story-driven role-playing game Pathologic 3, which grew out of the promised Bachelor campaign for Pathologic 2, but they are “ripe” to announce the release date of the free prologue of the project.

The introduction to the Bachelor’s story is called Pathologic 3: Quarantine and is scheduled to be released on Steam on March 17. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer.
In format, “Quarantine” is similar to the interactive teaser “Marble Nest” for Pathologic 2, but it pursues different goals – to show fragments of different mechanics, the beginning of the main plot, and tell more about the world of the game.
«Pathologic 3: Quarantine is positioned as a story-driven adventure about a young bachelor, Daniil Dankovsky, his search for immortality and his fight against a mysterious epidemic that has engulfed a remote town.
For the first time in the series, players will see the Capital, where the Bachelor’s long-suffering laboratory is located
Users will have to examine patients and their homes, issue decrees for the entire city, come face to face with the embodiment of the plague and take the first step towards victory over death.
Meanwhile, Pathologic 3 is expected to be released in 2025, first on PC (Steam), and then on PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The developers explained last fall why the Bachelor campaign was turned into a separate game.
