After widespread user complaints about unstable operation of X on Friday and Saturday, Elon Musk promised to personally take care of the situation. In his post, he stated that he would now work 24 hours a day to ensure the stability of critical projects. According to the website availability analyzer DownDetector, the problems were related to a data center failure.

According to Bloomberg, X’s engineering team said the outage was caused by a fire at one of its data centers. Musk acknowledged that the outages showed the scale of the problems. “Back to working 24/7 and sleeping in conference rooms, server rooms, and factory floors. I have to be hyper-focused on X/xAI and Tesla (plus the launch of Starship next week) as we bring key technologies to market,” he wrote in a post on X on Saturday, responding to user complaints about the platform’s downtime.
The billionaire has previously said he will devote more time to Tesla, temporarily stepping away from his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) government spending optimization project. He also recently announced plans to cut political spending.
