Nvidia has released a fresh graphics driver package, GeForce Game Ready 572.83 WHQL. The update adds support for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 for laptops, and optimizes performance in Half-Life 2 RTX Demo, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and other games with DLSS 4 support.

The driver provides support for the inZOI game, which integrates Nvidia ACE technology to create autonomous game characters using generative AI. This allows NPCs to adapt and react to their environment more realistically and intelligently. The driver also adds support for a technical update for Control, which improves image quality, adds a new DLSS 4 model, Ultra Ray Tracing mode, HDR support, DLAA, and improved textures.

The latest driver adds and updates games and applications (61 in total, the full list can be found when installing the driver) with the ability to force the latest DLSS Override models via the Nvidia App (Graphics → Software Settings).
List of fixed issues:
- GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 graphics cards may not operate at full speed after a system reboot while overclocked;
- Black screen crashes on GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards;
- Some Nvidia App settings could reset immediately or give an error when changed;
- PC may have reported IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL (0xa) error during gameplay;
- Fixed Optix compilation error when using R570 series drivers;
- Improved stability of the Derivative TouchDesigner application.
Famous problems:
- Changing the status of the option “Show the GP activity icon in the notification area” takes effect only after restarting the PC.
