Microsoft introduced a new Storyline function for the Teams platform, resembling Facebook✴ news feed. It allows you to publish updates, interact with colleagues and share information. The Storyline tape is integrated into the main Teams interface through the Viva Engage communication application, in which participants can create posts, subscribe to colleagues and see comments and reactions in their activity.

According to The Verge, Microsoft also plans to add several new functions to Teams, including Copilot for creating Word Documents, live transcription in several languages, the possibility of recording proper pronunciation of participants and improving the quality of the video on the PC using the Super Resolution for Users Copilot Plus based on Qualcomm. The Outlook calendar with improved data selection and viewing opportunities will also be integrated.

The IT administrators will be able to control who can create new posts or ads in the tape in Storyline, but in general, moderation of posts will depend on individual employees and the company’s policy for the organization of workspace.

Storyline in Teams should be available in the preliminary version in the coming weeks, however, Microsoft has already begun to expand Storyline for some of its Teams corporate clients. It is reported that the preliminary public version will become available to a wider circle of customers at the end of this year.

Microsoft as part of the Latitude project (mobile platform for students and teachers) expands the availability of their games on other platforms. In particular, games such as Forza Horizon 5 and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition will become available on PlayStation, they will follow Halo: Combat Evolved and, possibly, other games such as GEARS of WAR. At the same time, it is noted that the Xbox cooperation with Nintendo will certainly lead to a larger number of Xbox games on this platform.
