It seems that Lenovo is preparing two new models of Legion Go portable gaming consoles at once. Last month it was reported that a mention of a more compact version of the Legion Go gaming console was found on the manufacturer’s website. Now on the Lenovo website there is a mention of the new generation Legion Go Gen Two model.

Lenovo recently released the Legion Go Dock for its portable set-top boxes. The product specifications indicate compatibility of the device not only with the current Legion Go Gen One console model, but also with the future Legion Go Gen Two and Legion Go Lite models. The more compact Legion Go model, which was mentioned in previous leaks, should appear on sale under the name Legion Go Lite.

Lenovo itself has not yet announced plans to announce new Legion Go portable consoles, but the company previously stated that a new generation of consoles will be released as soon as the time comes for this.

The specifications of Legion Go Gen Two and Legion Go Lite are not yet known. Legion Go Gen Two is expected to be powered by a processor from AMD’s upcoming Ryzen Z2 series. Thus, the set-top box will receive a chip with Zen 5 computing cores and integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics. According to VideoCardz, earlier rumors predicted an eight-core APU for the new generation of portable console. If the latter belongs to the Strix Point series, then it can receive up to 16 execution units of integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics, which is 33% more than the Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor (Phoenix series) as part of the original Legion Go Gen One model.

In turn, for the Legion Go Lite model, rumors predict a Ryzen Z1 processor (not the Extreme version) of the current generation, aimed at less expensive gaming devices.
