Finding out whether a particular GeForce RTX 4070 uses GDDR6 or GDDR6X memory can be tricky. While some manufacturers highlight the differences with large stickers on graphics card packaging, others offer less obvious clues, making it difficult for consumers to tell the cards apart. But Zotac points to the use of GDDR6 memory on the front of the graphics card packaging.

GeForce RTX 4070 Twin Edge will be offered in white and black versions, with and without factory overclocked GPU (OC versions). As VideoCardz writes, at the moment only the Zotac GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6 Twin Edge (ZT-D40740H-10M) version without factory overclocking is on sale.

It is noteworthy that the cost of the new video card with GDDR6 memory is $549.99, which corresponds to the adjusted recommended price of the original RTX 4070 with GDDR6X in January of this year after the release of the RTX 4070 Super by Nvidia. However, the price of the Zotac GeForce RTX 4070 12GB GDDR6X Twin Edge (ZT-D40700E-10M) version in the same store is $559.99, which is higher than Nvidia’s recommended price.
