In the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 DLC, the liquid metal cybernetic assassin will receive the appearance and voice of Robert Patrick, who played the character in the 1991 cult film.
As it became known, owners of Kombat Pack 2 or the Khaos Reigns add-on will get access to the new fighter from March 18, and the Terminator T-1000 will be available for purchase separately from the 25th. The announcement was accompanied by a gameplay teaser trailer.
The T-1000 Terminator in Mortal Kombat 1 has a deadly moveset and the ability to change shape. The fatality shown involving the character features the same truck from the chase scene in Terminator 2.
Along with the T-1000, Mortal Kombat 1 will also feature another cameo fighter. This is the fan-favorite Madame Bo, the owner of a tea house in Fengjian Province and the mother of Sektor (in the current universe, a woman, not a cyborg).
In the comments to the gameplay video, users praised the T-1000 performed by Robert Patrick, and were also pleasantly surprised by the addition of Madame Bo to the list of cameo fighters.
Mortal Kombat 1 was released on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch. The game sold over 5 million copies, but rumors say that due to the failure of Khaos Reigns, the release of Kombat Pack 3 and the second add-on were canceled.
