The first images have been published of the supposedly sixth generation Lenovo ThinkBook Plus, which may have a retractable display. Judging by the photos, the laptop screen will slide up, increasing the workspace and revealing an additional part of the display.

According to The Verge, citing well-known insider Evan Blass, the new laptop resembles the 2023 concept, in which the screen was also extended vertically. The image shows how you can use the larger display for multitasking. For example, at the top of the screen you can watch YouTube videos, and at the bottom you can work on documents or a PowerPoint presentation.

The technical characteristics of the device have not yet been disclosed. Blass’s leak does not contain any details, so the parameters are unknown. However, if the information is confirmed and the laptop is indeed presented at CES, which will be held from January 7 to 10, 2025 in Las Vegas, it could become one of the most interesting products at the event.

It is worth noting that Evan Blass has a reputation as a reliable source of various leaks, especially regarding Lenovo products. He often publishes information about new products shortly before their official announcement, and his predictions about the laptop’s debut at CES in January look quite plausible, according to The Verge.

A week earlier, Blass also posted images of the updated Lenovo Legion Go portable gaming console, as well as the Lenovo Legion Go S, which could be the company’s first SteamOS-based portable console. By the way, shortly after this, Lenovo confirmed these rumors by announcing an event with Valve as a “special guest,” which once again confirms the credibility of the information received from the insider.
