Honor has officially introduced the MagicBook X16 Plus (2025) and MagicBook X14 Plus (2025) laptops. Both new products are built on the mysterious Core i5 processors, which Intel has not yet officially presented, and will be available in different configurations.

MagicBook X16 Plus (2025) has a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels (2.5K), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a matte anti-glare coating. It uses a 16:10 aspect ratio panel with 430 cd/m² peak brightness and 100% sRGB color space coverage. The display is certified by TUV Rheinland for flicker-free performance and low levels of eye-harming blue light.
The MagicBook X16 Plus (2025) is powered by an Intel Core i5-220H processor with 12 cores and 16 threads, which is built on the same architecture as the 13th generation Core H-series chips (Raptor Lake). The chip supports two modes: intelligent (35 W) and high-performance (45 W), to switch between which you just need to press the Fn + P key combination. The laptop will be available in versions with 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a 1 TB SSD.
Autonomous operation is ensured by a 75 Wh battery with support for fast charging up to 65 W. The battery charges to 39% in 30 minutes, and a full charging cycle takes 110 minutes. The device can work autonomously for up to 11.5 hours when playing 1080p video. The cooling system includes a pair of fans with large S-shaped blades and dual heat pipes.
Wireless connectivity is provided by built-in Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 modules. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button. The laptop has a full-size backlit keyboard and a 5-point touch trackpad. The design includes a camera (720p), a pair of microphones, speakers, as well as two USB Type-C interfaces, two USB Type-A (Gen1 and Gen2), one HDMI connector and a 3.5 mm headset jack.
Note the support for AI functions of Magic AI Collaborative Office. These include tools for searching documents and images, a function for responding to user text queries, the ability to generate brief summaries of documents, etc. The laptop is only 17.9 mm thick and weighs 1.79 kg. Windows 11 Home is used as software platforms. The version of the MagicBook X16 Plus (2025) with 16 GB of RAM will retail for about $700, and for the version with 32 GB of RAM you will have to pay about $740. The first deliveries will begin later this month.
The more compact MagicBook X14 Plus (2025) boasts a 14-inch display with support for a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels (2.8K) and anti-glare coating. The 16:10 panel offers a peak brightness of 430 cd/m² and 100% sRGB color space coverage. The absence of flicker and blue radiation harmful to the eyes is confirmed by TUV Rheinland certificates.
The MagicBook X14 Plus (2025) comes with the same Intel Core i5-220H processor, which is complemented by 16GB or 32GB of RAM and 1TB storage. A 60 Wh battery with support for charging up to 65 W is responsible for autonomy. For cooling, there is a fan with large S-shaped blades and a fairly large heat pipe.
The laptop is equipped with a similar set of interfaces as the older model. The laptops are similar in many ways, so we can say that the MagicBoob X14 Plus (2024) is a more compact version of the older model with almost the same set of characteristics. The device is only 15.9 mm thick and weighs 1.34 kg. The device comes with Windows 11 Home. You can purchase a new product with 16 GB of RAM for about $670, and with 32 GB of RAM for $715.
