Telegram is rolling out ten new mini-app features this month. With their help, developers will be able to create new types of applications and games. The imminent appearance of new opportunities was announced by the founder of the messenger, Pavel Durov.
Durov’s message said that in the next 2-4 weeks the following functions will appear in Telegram:
- Full screen mode for mini-applications;
- The ability to add mini-application icons to the desktop;
- The ability to add paid subscriptions in mini-applications;
- Geolocation access function with user permission;
- Device orientation data collection function;
- Access to Emoji status;
- Media file sharing function;
- Function of sending gifts;
- Extended messaging limits;
- Advertising monetization.
At the end of last month, Durov announced the appearance of new functions in Telegram. Among other things, messenger users can now add images and videos to already sent messages, as well as change media files while editing a message.
