Following a major October update, the PC version of the third-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 also received a free 4K texture pack announced at the beginning of the month.
According to the Steam description, the official 4K texture pack for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will “enjoy the most vibrant and colorful textures of the 41st millennium.”

Full reviews of the new set have not yet appeared, but a 23-minute demonstration of 4K textures of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has already been released on the GameRiot YouTube channel (the video is attached above).
Users appreciated the visual improvements, but many were not ready to approach 4K textures. “My 2060 is starting to melt just looking at this,” Mineiran complained.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released on September 9 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Balance changes in update 4.0 outraged players, but the developers are already promising adjustments – a new patch is expected next week.
