Meta✴’s microblogging platform Threads continues to grow its audience, which is also fueled by the outflow of users from social network X after the election of US President Donald Trump. Meta✴ CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Threads now has more than 100 million daily users and the platform now has 300 million monthly active users, up 25 million from November.
While Threads regularly updates monthly active users, this is the first time the company has reported daily active users, TechCrunch noted.
Last month, the head of Threads and Instagram✴ Adam Mosseri reported that in the first two weeks of November, 15 million new users joined the social network – about one million every day. It took Threads just over a year to reach 275 million monthly active users.
To attract more users, Threads is constantly working to expand the functionality of the platform. It recently announced upcoming “long overdue improvements” including improvements to internal search, as well as the launch of a new trends page.
