The new iPhone SE will lose the Home button, but will receive support for Apple Intelligence

Mark Gurman, who has been accumulating news about Apple’s plans for a long time, explained on the pages of Bloomberg that early next year the company plans to release the next generation iPhone SE, which will look like the iPhone 14, will lose the Home button, but will be able to recognize the user by face and provide support Apple Intelligence features.

In other words, the new iPhone SE, whose predecessor was released in 2022, is tasked with making Apple products more attractive to more budget-conscious shoppers. The current iPhone SE is offered at a price of $429, which may seem attractive only to convinced connoisseurs of Apple products, while competitors offer much more for the money. The full-height display of the front surface of the case, according to Apple designers, should symbolize an important update for the iPhone SE.

Apple Intelligence support will also be an important factor in pushing customers to purchase the iPhone SE. This will make the youngest smartphone in the Apple line related to the older iPhone 15 and iPhone 16. Apple’s partners will soon begin production of the new iPhone SE, which will receive the internal index V59.

Apple’s partners will also soon begin releasing updated iPad Air tablets under the J607 and J637 indexes, which will focus on internal improvements. They will be accompanied by updated Magic Keyboards designed for 11- and 13-inch models, respectively. These accessories push some of the iPad Pro’s keyboard functionality down the price hierarchy. A new iPad mini with the symbol J410 will also be released before the end of the year, but this cannot be guaranteed.

This year, Apple also hopes to equip the updated Mac mini, MacBook Pro and iMac with the latest M4 family processors, which will gain support for Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence functions. Next year, M4 processors will be included in MacBook Pro, Mac Studio and Mac Pro computers.
