With the release of God of War Ragnarok on PC, it will finally be possible to stop the flow of clues to riddles

On the eve of the release of the Scandinavian action game God of War Ragnarok on PC, developers from Santa Monica Studio, with the support of partners from Jetpack Interactive, talked about two new features that will debut in the game with the release of the PC version.

Let’s remember that one of the most annoying features of the game at release was the excessive chattiness of the allies – they constantly gave clues to riddles, not allowing you to solve the puzzles yourself, and it was impossible to turn this off.

The developers admitted that the problem was the result of an oversight by the team (due to a reduction in the number of testers, the system was not properly calibrated towards the end of production) and do not expect to solve it in the future.

As it became known, with the release of God of War Ragnarok on PC, players will still have the opportunity to reduce the frequency of tips from companions. The corresponding option will be available in the gameplay settings.

The second new feature is an audio description of events (and provision of contextual information) in intro videos for people with low vision. The option will be located in the accessibility settings.

The developers clarified that although both features will debut with the release of God of War Ragnarok on PC, in the near future (without exact dates) they will also be added to the console versions of the game.

God of War Ragnarok will be released on PC (Steam, Epic Game Store) on September 19 and will cost $60. The imminent release was celebrated with a 30-second gameplay trailer with laudatory reviews (attached above).
