Thermaltake has confirmed the compatibility of its coolers with Intel Arrow Lake, despite the new socket

Thermaltake has confirmed that 71 of its coolers previously designed for LGA1700 will be compatible with the upcoming LGA1851 socket for Intel Arrow Lake. The list includes both air and liquid cooling systems.

Rumors about the compatibility of LGA1700 coolers with LGA1851, despite the difference of 151 contacts, have been circulating for a long time. However, Thermaltake’s official confirmation is still good news, especially given the wide range of compatible models. “We are pleased to confirm that our customers will be able to seamlessly use their Thermaltake coolers when upgrading to Intel Arrow Lake processors,” the company said in a statement.

It is worth noting that Thermaltake is not the first cooling system manufacturer to confirm the compatibility of its products with LGA1851. Earlier, Noctua and Azza announced this, and Arctic confirmed the compatibility of Freezer 36 series coolers. It is expected that other manufacturers will join them in the near future.

In addition to LGA1851 compatibility, Thermaltake also confirmed that the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU cooler versions will be compatible with the recently released Ryzen 9000 processors, which doesn’t come as a surprise considering both lineups use Socket AM5.
