The E Ink Gallery 3 display is, of course, the main distinguishing feature of the device – its diagonal is 11.8 inches with a resolution of 2160 × 1620 pixels (4:3 aspect ratio), and has a built-in backlight. The device is powered by a 4-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz; LPDDR4 RAM capacity is 2 GB; There is a built-in storage capacity of 64 GB. To communicate with the outside world, a Wi-Fi module (2.4 and 5 GHz) and a USB Type-C port are used – a 5030 mAh battery is charged through it, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for two weeks of battery life.

The Paper Pro software platform is reMarkable OS based on the Linux kernel. It supports importing documents in PDF and EPUB formats, as well as exporting to PDF, PNG and SVG. The electronic notepad comes with a stylus, the battery of which is charged when it is fixed on the side of the device – there are no external ports on the stylus. Response time when working with the pen is 20 ms; MyScript technology is responsible for handwriting recognition. Synchronization with computers is provided by applications available for Android, Windows, macOS and iOS; There are plugins for Google Chrome and Microsoft Office. It also offers a cloud service called reMarkable for data synchronization.

The reMarkable Paper Pro has a base price of $499, TechCrunch reports. But it can increase if you order additional accessories from the manufacturer. For example, this could be a higher-quality Marker Plus stylus for $50, which has a more convenient body and a built-in eraser. A simple flip case starts at $89, and a $229 option with a built-in keyboard is also available.
