Honor will soon present at IFA 2024, which will be held in early September in Berlin (Germany), the Magic V3 foldable smartphone, which is distinguished by its thin body and light weight. The new product is also distinguished by its impressive resistance to external influences and, accordingly, great reliability, which was confirmed during two extreme tests.
The Magic V3 uses a Super Steel Hinge made from a proprietary steel alloy that has increased tensile strength up to 2100 MPa. When tested on a granite surface, it withstood a hydraulic press with a force of 1150 kg.
In terms of water resistance, Magic V3 complies with the IPX8 standard, which allows it to be submerged for half an hour to a depth of 2.5 meters. This quality, as well as the increased durability of the smartphone, was tested using a washing machine, and it was not damaged, also maintaining full functionality.
