The developers of Bye Sweet Carole have delayed the release in order to radically improve the game – this is an adventure horror in the style of classic Disney cartoons

Developers from the Italian studio Little Sewing Machine, founded by Remothered author Chris Darril, announced the transfer of their horror adventure Bye Sweet Carole.

Let us remind you that Bye Sweet Carole was presented last spring and until recently was expected to be released on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Nintendo Switch in 2024.

As it became known, Bye Sweet Carole is now planned for release only during 2025. The developers decided to spend more time improving the gameplay and artistic component.

In particular, based on player feedback, the authors made Bye Sweet Carole less dark (the same scene with old and new lighting), redesigned the menu and interface – its current version can be seen in the latest screenshots (see above).

In addition, the team is busy reworking all the animations in the cutscenes to maintain a consistent art style, as well as trying to make the gameplay more intense.

A new Bye Sweet Carole gameplay video is in the works, which the team will share in the near future

The events of Bye Sweet Carole will unfold at the beginning of the 20th century. Young Lana Benton undertakes to uncover the truth about the disappearance of her best friend, Carol Simmons, from the Bunny Hall shelter, but ends up in the world of the fantasy kingdom of Corolla.

They promise a “horrifying journey through a dark story,” colorful characters, the ability to transform into a bunny, and hand-drawn graphics inspired by classic Disney cartoons.
