Developers from Saber Interactive, in their monthly message to players, answered frequently asked questions about the upcoming third-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and talked about the game’s promotion in August.
Saber Interactive is not yet ready to answer the most common question from PC users about Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – its system requirements – as it is conducting final technical checks.
«We understand very well that this is one of the most anticipated details about the game, and we will return to you with the minimum and recommended configurations in the next couple of weeks,” the developers assured.
In addition, Saber confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will not require a constant Internet connection: the story campaign and the PvE Operations mode (though without a progression system) will be available offline.
What other details of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 were revealed by the developers in answers to questions:
As for the team’s plans for August, they promise even more videos demonstrating specific elements of Space Marine 2, preliminary reviews of the co-op mode from the press, and an announcement of post-release support (in the middle of the month).
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, but buyers of the premium editions will receive early access. There will be no microtransactions or an in-game store in the shooter.
