Instagram users can now create AI copies of themselves

Meta✴ offered all American users the opportunity to create virtual copies of themselves on Instagram✴ and the web interface using the artificial intelligence tool AI Studio. AI will be able to communicate on behalf of bloggers and business page owners with subscribers in chats or in comments to publications.

You can start working with AI Studio either through the web interface or directly on Instagram✴ by starting a new “correspondence with AI” in the application. The AI ​​is configured using additional training on content on Instagram✴; You can set topics to avoid and links to share. There are auto-reply functions and the ability to specify which accounts are allowed to interact with. In AI Studio, you can also create completely new AI characters, which are subsequently deployed in Meta✴ applications – they can later be exhibited as in the OpenAI store, where everyone can work with them.

Meta✴ understands that generative AI is unpredictable, and a virtual version of a celebrity may say things that its real counterpart would never say. This, of course, will happen even despite the many protective tools that AI Studio has, so AI profiles will be clearly marked in all places where they are present. The company has published detailed guidelines for creating an AI profile, and the burden of listing closed topics falls on its character creator, not Meta✴ itself. You can, for example, prohibit AI from answering the question of whether it is worth investing in cryptocurrency – there are still too many scammers in this area who parasitize on the images of celebrities.
