XFX has so far announced several versions of the Radeon RX 9070 series graphics cards in their signature Mercury, Quick Silver, Quick Silver Esports, and Swift designs. All of them are equipped with cooling systems with three fans. Now the manufacturer has introduced the first Radeon RX 9070 XT model with a cooling system that includes only two fans. It also belongs to the signature Swift line.

Previously, manufacturers have already introduced several versions of the Radeon RX 9070 with two fans. However, the XFX Radeon RX 9070 XT Swift Dual Fan is the first of the known RX 9070 XT in such a compact design. The new product does not have a factory overclock. Its GPU has a reference frequency of 2970 MHz in Boost mode and a reference power consumption of 304 W.
The card measures 290 x 123 x 65 mm, so even though it’s shorter than other RX 9070 XT variants from other manufacturers, it will still take up three expansion slots in a PC case, just like the triple-fan models.
Since the Swift Dual Fan is the entry-level model in XFX’s RX 9070 XT lineup, it’s also the cheapest. The company has priced it at 4,999 yuan (around $700), which is the recommended price for the RX 9070 XT in China. For comparison, XFX’s second-most affordable RX 9070 XT is priced at 5,699 yuan (around $797).
