SteelSeries has expanded its Apex Pro Gen 3 gaming keyboard lineup with the introduction of the compact Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 and Apex Pro TKL Gen 3. The Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 features a 60% aspect ratio, while the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 uses a 75% aspect ratio.

Key features of the new products include support for Protection Mode (prevents accidental pressing of nearby keys), Rapid Tap (prioritizes the last pressed key in a pair without having to release the previous key. This provides faster input and improved aiming) and Rapid Trigger (allows you to repeatedly press and release a key with minimal effort), as well as GG QuickSet settings (optimal control settings for different games. The user can choose from pre-created profiles optimized by professional eSports players).
Both keyboards use OmniPoint 3.0 mechanical switches with 40 actuation settings between 0.1 and 4 mm of key travel. The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 has these settings directly on the keyboard itself in the upper right corner. There is a small OLED screen with a settings wheel. The Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 also features a wrist rest included. Both keyboards use a 32-bit Arm processor.
