Honor has unveiled the Honor X60 GT smartphone in China, which replaces the Honor X50 GT model that went on sale early last year. The new product, based on the 2022 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, belongs to the mid-price category.
The Honor X60 GT smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2664 × 1200 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 5000 cd / m² and PWM brightness control with a high frequency of 3840 Hz. The screen supports 10-bit color depth with the display of 1.07 billion shades, HDR10 technology and provides 100 percent coverage of the color space. The display also has a built-in fingerprint scanner.
The hardware platform is an eight-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with a clock speed of up to 3.0 GHz, manufactured using a 4-nm process technology. The RAM is 12 or 16 GB, and the built-in storage capacity is 256 or 512 GB.
For taking selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The main camera includes a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (f/1.88) and a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.45).
The power source is a 6300 mAh battery with support for Honor Qinghai Lake technology and 80 W fast charging. According to Honor, a full charge of the device from 0 to 100% takes only 45 minutes.
Honor X60 GT runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. The smartphone has protection against dust and moisture in accordance with the IP65 standard. The thickness of the case is 7.7 mm, weight – 193 g.
The smartphone is available in China in Titanium Shadow Silver, Titanium Shadow Blue, and Phantom Night Black. The Honor X60 GT 12/256GB version costs around $246, the 12/512GB model costs around $274, and the 16/512GB version costs $329.
