To communicate with the Grok chatbot in the messenger for free and in an extended mode, a Telegram Premium subscription is required. But the service works with some differences from the version integrated into the X social network – it can give abnormal, inaccurate or insufficiently complete answers, noted “Durova Code”.

The latest version of Grok, Grok 3, debuted in mid-February. It is positioned as a powerful competitor to leading AI systems, including OpenAI GPT-4o and Google Gemini; the family includes reasoning models. The full range of Grok features is available to X Premium+ subscribers for $50 per month, as well as to those with a cheaper special SuperGrok subscription. The appearance of Grok in Telegram on March 19 was hinted at by the messenger’s creator Pavel Durov.
Let’s remember that Grok stands out from other chatbots with its more sarcastic, uninhibited and even frivolous responses. The developers themselves describe it as follows: “Grok is an artificial intelligence modeled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, designed to answer almost anything and, what’s much harder, even suggest what questions to ask! Grok is designed to answer questions wittily and has a rebellious streak, so please do not use it if you hate humor.”
