Asus has released the B850M AYW Gaming WiFi motherboard, which can be used to assemble a compact but powerful gaming system. The new product is made in MicroATX format and is designed for AMD Ryzen 7000 and 9000 processors.

The board measures 24.4 x 22.1 cm. It is based on a six-layer textolite. It is equipped with an 11-phase VRM power subsystem using the 8 + 2 + 1 scheme. For such a compact board, it offers a decent set of options for organizing a data storage subsystem: one M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot with a throughput of up to 128 Gbps, one M.2 PCIe 4.0 slot with a speed of up to 64 Gbps, and four SATA III ports. In addition, there is one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot operating in x8/x4 modes.
The Asus B850M AYW Gaming WiFi motherboard features two DIMM slots for DDR5 RAM modules with support for frequencies up to 8400 MT/s (when overclocked). The new product supports Wi-Fi 6, is equipped with a 2.5-gigabit network adapter, various USB ports, including Type-C, and a Realtek audio codec with support for 7.1-channel sound. In addition, the board offers three connectors for connecting ARGB lighting.
The rear panel features one HDMI 2.1 port, eight USB ports with different throughput (10 Gbps, 5 Gbps and 480 Mbps), a BIOS update button, Wi-Fi antenna connectors and three audio outputs.
The price of the Asus B850M AYW Gaming WiFi board is not reported.
