Bloober Team, which describes itself in its official press release as “Polish masters of horror”, has announced that it has signed an agreement with Konami to develop a new joint project.

As noted by Bloober Team, the basis of the new agreement was the trust built on the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake. The deal also fits into the studio’s ongoing strategy to expand its production capabilities.

«Of course, we can’t reveal all the details right now, but we are sure that fans will be just as excited about this collaboration as we are. We can’t wait to share something special with gamers when the time comes,” emphasized Bloober CEO Piotr Babieno.

Recall that Bloober Team and Konami first announced their collaboration in 2021. In October 2022, the Silent Hill 2 remake was officially unveiled and released in October 2024. In three months, the game’s sales reached 2 million copies.

Silent Hill 2 was released on PC (Steam) and PS5. In the run-up to the release, the remake was haunted by skepticism from players, but at launch, the quality of the project was a pleasant surprise for both ordinary users and critics.
