Before Electronic Arts could report how much Dragon Age: The VeilGuard disappointed her, how the fantasy role -playing action from BioWare received a new patch. Perhaps the last in the short story of the game.

Released on January 23 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, the fifth update brought improvements to the quality of gameplay and corrections of a dozen bugs in Dragon Age: The Veilguard (see the full list of changes).

In particular, additional quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard now have recommended levels in case the quest can be taken on by players whose characters have not yet reached the required development threshold.

In addition, a critical bug that made it impossible to solve the Crossroads puzzle in the Merged City region has been fixed, and the hero will no longer endlessly drown in a certain location on Rivaina Beach.

The developers noted that they were very pleased with the stability of the game at launch and with the release of the fifth patch they will focus only on fixing critical problems, “if any arise.”

BioWare has completed its appeal with the words of Dareth SHIRAL, which is translated from the elven language in the world of Dragon Age (literally: a happy path). In other words, large patches for The VeilGuard can no longer be expected.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard was released on October 31, 2024 and attracted 1.5 million users in two months – almost 50% less than Electronic Arts expected. The game will not receive DLC either, since BioWare switched to the new Mass Effect.
