Apple, as a rule, does not indicate the capacity of their batteries in the specifications of iPhone smartphones, so you usually have to rely on other sources – publications of certification bodies or sites that disassemble devices. In the case of the recently announced iPhone 16 smartphones, this data became known thanks to the Brazilian regulator ANATEL.

According to the GSMArena resource, citing information from the Brazilian Communications Agency (ANATEL), the iPhone 16 smartphone received a battery with a capacity of 3561 mAh, which is 6.3% more than its predecessor. The iPhone 16 Plus has a 4674 mAh battery, which is 6.6% more than the iPhone 15 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro has a 3582 mAh battery, which is 9.4% more than the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4685 mAh battery, which is 5.5% more than the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Thus, the battery capacity increased the most in the iPhone 16 Pro – by 9.4%. Despite the slight difference in capacity increase, the new series models feature long battery life thanks to the A18 and A18 Pro chips used and improvements in battery design. Durability has also increased compared to its predecessors, both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.

All models in the iPhone 16 family support faster 25W MagSafe charging. To do this, you’ll need to purchase Apple’s new MagSafe charger and plug it into a 30W power adapter. The new smartphones can also charge at up to 45W via USB-C.
