As part of its unveiling of new devices on August 13, Google introduced the Pixel 9 series with AI built into the camera that will help you take and edit photos like a pro without any technical skills.

One of the key new features is the “Add Me” function, which allows you to add a photographer to a group photo. The system scans the environment, takes a photo of the group, and then invites the photographer to take a place in the frame, creating the illusion of all participants being present at the same time.

Magic Editor’s Reimagine feature allows you to change the background of a photo using simple text queries. Users can, for example, turn a daytime photo into a nighttime one or add a UFO to the sky.

«Autoframe is another AI-powered feature of Magic Editor. It analyzes the photo and offers four framing options, improving the composition of the photo. The feature can add “generated pixels” to the edges of the frame to position your subject according to the rule of thirds, or even suggest vertical cropping for an initially horizontal photo.

The long-awaited “Zoom Enhance” feature has finally arrived on the Pixel 9 line. It can be used to enlarge certain areas of a photo, generating additional pixels to improve the clarity of the entire image.

Google has also improved its Video Boost feature, making video processing twice as fast and adding support for telephoto and up to 20x zoom. The system can now upscale video resolution to 8K.

In addition, the panoramic shooting function has been completely redesigned, HDR+ and Night Sight technologies have been integrated into it, and the image capture process has also been changed.
