At CES 2025, IceGiant demonstrated TITAN series liquid cooling systems for workstation processors and gaming PCs. They are based on ProSiphon technology, which uses the siphon principle: coolant is moved by temperature differences in a closed circuit without a pump. According to the manufacturer, the new life-support systems provide more efficient heat dissipation with the complete absence of noise characteristic of pump operation.
Two TITAN LSS models with a lifetime warranty on the system itself and a 6-year warranty on complete fans were presented at the exhibition. The manufacturer claims that the system will last longer than the fan, since its design does not include a pump, which is subject to wear and structural degradation.
TITAN-TR 360 LSS is designed for AMD Socket SP5 or sTR5 processors designed for Ryzen Threadripper 7000 series workstations. This can serve as indirect evidence of the technology’s effectiveness, since some Threadripper WX7000 series processors have a thermal dissipation (TDP) of up to 350 W.
ProSiphon TITAN 360 LSS is designed for standard desktop processor socket types such as AM5 and LGA1851. The manufacturer claims that the system is capable of cooling flagship Intel and AMD chips, for example, the Ryzen 9 9000X3D with a TDP of up to 230 W or the Core Ultra 9 285K with a TDP of up to 250 W.
The exhibition demonstrated a system based on the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX processor, cooled by ProSiphon TITAN-TR 360. The processor was under full load throughout the day, consuming 214 W, and the entire system at peak moments – up to 680 W. At the same time, the average temperature of the processor cores was 46 °C, and the maximum did not exceed 75 °C.
The only drawback of the presented LSSs is the rigid tubes, which require careful assembly planning.
