The OnePlus 13 smartphone has entered the global market – $100 more expensive than its predecessor

The flagship smartphone OnePlus 13 entered the global market just two months after its presentation in China. The device is equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite single-chip platform and overall has very advanced characteristics.

The basic version of OnePlus 13 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage will cost $899, and this modification is only available in black. OnePlus 12, released a year earlier, cost $799 in its basic version. The version of the new product with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory is available in white and blue body colors for $999. In Europe, OnePlus 13 with 12 and 256 GB of memory will cost €999, and for a model with 16 and 512 GB of memory you will have to pay €1,049.

The OnePlus 13 smartphone comes with a 6.82-inch display from BOE that supports a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. The panel used provides a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 cd/m². Compared to the OnePlus 12, the new flagship has a brighter screen and an updated camera.

The main 50-megapixel camera is based on a 1/1.4″ Sony LYT-808 sensor with optical stabilization and an f/1.6 optical aperture, and is complemented by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 1/1.27″ sensor with f/1.27″ wide-angle optics /2.2 and 112-degree viewing angle, as well as a 50-megapixel LYT-600 sensor periscope telephoto camera, with f/2.6 aperture, optical stabilization, 6x optical and 120x digital zoom. The main camera is claimed to be capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second, as well as recording in 8K. On the front of the device there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor with f/2.4 optics and the ability to record video in 4K at 30 frames per second.

What deserves special mention is that the OnePlus 13 is less than 9 mm thick, despite the fact that it is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery. In addition to this, the smartphone body is protected from moisture and dust according to IP68/IP69 standards. In general, the characteristics of OnePlus 13 are fully consistent with a flagship smartphone, which is built on an advanced microprocessor and promises high performance.
