The new product is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip, designed specifically for lightweight smart glasses with artificial intelligence support. By comparison, the bulkier RayNeo X2 glasses used a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chip – the same as the Meta✴ Quest 2.

RayNeo X3 Pro is equipped with two binocular full-color Micro LED displays with a brightness of up to 2500 cd/m², which project virtual objects against the external environment using optical waveguide technology. The device is also equipped with two cameras: one is designed to record video, and the second is for tracking the environment and hand movements. Earlier it became known that RayNeo augmented reality glasses will use Alibaba’s AI models.

RayNeo X3 Pro will go on sale later this year, the price of the glasses is still unknown.

The RayNeo X3 Air is a display glasses similar to the models produced by Xreal. The displays support a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, creating a virtual screen effect with a diagonal of 201 inches, and provide enhanced audio.

Another model, RayNeo V3, weighs only 39 g and is functionally similar to Ray-Ban glasses from Meta✴. These glasses are equipped with a camera and support work with an AI assistant, but do not have a display.

RayNeo X3 Air and RayNeo V3 are expected to go on sale in the second half of this year. The cost of new products will become known closer to their release date.
