The South Korean company LG will present two universal “lifestyle projectors” at the annual CES exhibition, which begins in Las Vegas on January 7. As planned, they will fit harmoniously into the interior when turned off, but will not necessarily provide the best image quality for the money when turned on.

The first new product was the PF600U model, which combined a Full HD projector, a Bluetooth speaker and a floor lamp inside one housing. The device is equipped with a pair of speakers and an LED lamp with support for nine colors and five brightness levels, and its weight is 7.5 kg.

The projector itself is located in the upper part of the body, which can tilt 110°. Automatic screen size adjustment is supported, allowing you to quickly adjust the projected image after moving the lamp around the room. It is noted that the projector can project an image with a brightness of 300 lumens. This means that when watching videos at 1920 x 1080 pixels, the quality won’t be very good if the room is well lit.

The second new product was the CineBeam projector (PU615U), which is made in a surprisingly small case (device dimensions 110 × 160 × 160 mm). This model is an ultra-short throw projector that can be placed just a few centimeters from the wall and will produce a huge 4K image using a laser light source. The design includes stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology. The new product is capable of projecting an image with a brightness of 500 lumens, which will also not be enough to form a high-quality image in a well-lit room.

Both projectors run webOS and support a variety of video streaming applications. The timing of the new products going on sale and their retail price were not announced.
