Samsung is developing the world’s first 27-inch OLED monitor with a resolution of 1440p and a refresh rate of 500 Hz, reports the South Korean publication ETNews. The device aims to set a new performance standard for OLED monitors. Although the specifications of the Samsung monitor are unknown, industry sources suggest that the new product will use Samsung’s advanced QD-OLED matrix. Enhanced with Quantum Dot technology, these panels provide superior color reproduction, deeper contrast, and improved performance over traditional LCD panels.

According to a South Korean publication, Samsung’s OLED monitor with a 500 Hz refresh rate is in the final stages of development. The company is also in talks with other leading monitor manufacturers about the possibility of them using the new OLED panel in their products.
