V-Color boasted a record overclocking of the Manta DDR5 CUDIMM RAM module. If just yesterday the manufacturer reported an overclocking record of up to 12,264 MT/s, today the company announced a figure of 12,350 MT/s. Both records were set on the ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF motherboard.
For the experiment, we used a 24 GB V-Color Manta XFinity RGB CUDIMM DDR5 RAM module, which was first overclocked by the American AKM overclocker to an effective frequency of 6131.9 MHz (or 12,264 MT/s). The memory started working with timings CL 52-92-92-127.
Later, Canadian overclocker saltycroissant shared the results of overclocking the same memory module on the same motherboard. He overclocked the memory module to an effective frequency of 6175.4 MHz (12,350.8 MT/s). In both cases, liquid nitrogen was used to cool the components.
The flagship Core Ultra 9 285K processor also took part in the experiment.
