During 2025, the project will receive four DLCs, each of them will be dedicated to a separate investigation. In a recent note on this matter, the authors honestly admit that the content additions are intended for fans who want “more puzzles, more characters and more riddles to solve.”

The first addition should go on sale in the first quarter of 2025, two more will be released in the second quarter, and the fourth will be released no earlier than June next year. The number of DLCs and the stated release dates are not final.

The Rise of the Golden Idol will be released on November 12 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch. Netflix subscribers will have access to the game on iOS and Android.
