Developers from Kinetic Games reported that the audience of their cooperative horror game Phasmophobia has crossed the important mark of 20 million players. The corresponding news was published in the official microblog of the project.
Phasmophobia invites a team of four gamers, in the role of ghost hunters, to explore different places with paranormal activity and collect important evidence there. Explorers need to skillfully use available equipment and resort to voice commands. The latter allow you to directly interact with ghosts.
Phasmophobia has been in Steam Early Access since September 2020. The project appeared on PS5, Xbox Series X and S consoles quite recently – on October 29. The expansion of the platform geography was previously delayed due to a fire in the building where the Kinetic Games office is located.
As for the Steam version of Phasmophobia, since September 18, 2020, it has collected over 583 thousand reviews (96% rating).
