The Warcraft fantasy franchise from developers Blizzard Entertainment will turn 30 years old in mid-November, and the company is going to celebrate the upcoming anniversary with a special presentation.
As it became known, the broadcast is called Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct and will take place on the evening of November 13 (starts at 21:00 Moscow time) on the Warcraft and World of Warcraft social networks: Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
As part of the presentation, Blizzard promises to salute the past 30 years of Warcraft history and lift the veil of secrecy over the future of the franchise: “You won’t want to miss a second – and not a single surprise.”
«Whether you’re a Hearthstone fan, Warcraft Rumble mayhem, Warcraft: Orcs and Humans on Azeroth, or World of Warcraft, there’s something for everyone at the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct,” Blizzard says.
Blizzard is billing the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct as “an online celebration of World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, and Warcraft Rumble.” For watching the show, users of the listed projects will be able to receive in-game rewards.
Directly following the show, the World of Warcraft: 20 Years of Music concert will take place in honor of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the popular MMO, featuring the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra and three choirs.
The official birthday of Warcraft is November 15, 1994 – it was on this day that the fantasy strategy Warcraft: Orcs and Humans appeared on the shelves of North American stores, marking the beginning of an entire universe.
