Chieftec, known primarily for its power supplies and computer cases, is entering a new market for liquid cooling systems. The manufacturer presented a series of maintenance-free Iceberg life support systems. It includes models with radiators of standard sizes 240 and 360 mm.
Chieftec demonstrated both new products at Computex 2024 this summer. Iceberg LSS uses pumps with operating speeds from 1800 to 2700 rpm. The company logo rotating 360 degrees is installed on the water block of the new products.
120 mm fans with operating speeds from 500 to 2200 rpm are responsible for cooling the liquid in the radiator. They produce an airflow of 64.72 CFM and a static pressure of 3.06 mmH2O. Art. and have a noise level no higher than 34.7 dBA.
The Chieftec Iceberg LSS series will be produced both with RGB backlighting (models CLC-240-RGB/CLC-360-RGB) and without it (models CLC-240-BLK/CLC-360-BLK). They are declared compatible with processor sockets Intel LGA1851, LGA 1700, LGA 1200, LGA 1150, LGA 1151, LGA 1155, LGA 1156, as well as AMD Socket AM5, AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2 and FM1.
The company did not say anything about the cost of the new products.
