The social network X has launched a search engine for hot topics, Radar, but it is only available with the most expensive Premium+ subscription.

Amid growing competition from new microblogging platforms Bluesky and Threads, social network X has begun a full-scale rollout of trend analysis tool Radar. It provides real-time information about the latest trends and topics being discussed on the platform.

Previously, this tool was called Insights, it was available only to employees of verified companies at a cost of $1,000 per month if billed monthly or $833.33 if billed annually. By subscribing, marketers received keyword analytics, visualization of trend activity, and filtering discussions in real time. Radar allows you to track the volume and speed of discussions. These features help you better understand the latest trends on X so you can better plan the optimal time to release your posts and reach your desired audience.

Since yesterday, Radar began to be distributed in full force among subscribers of the most expensive Premium+ tariff. This tariff is issued through the web version at a price of $16 per month or $168 per year – for this money the user receives a verification checkbox, message editing, no advertising and much more. The Radar feature is currently in preview and will only be available to select subscribers in the near future.

Some users noticed the appearance of Radar a little earlier. They noted a significantly improved search algorithm, although in one case the function did not show publications older than three days. Integration with the X Pro app, formerly called TweetDeck, is also available.
