The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with additional 3D V-Cache memory, expected by many gamers, is already being actively tested by Chinese enthusiasts. A screenshot of testing the chip in Cinebench R23 was shared by one of the users of the social network X.
According to available information, the base frequency of the eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D is 4.7 GHz. The leaker, who provided a screenshot of the chip’s test, also claims that the processor is capable of running all cores at 5.2 GHz during rendering. Unfortunately, the source did not share a photo of the processor. Therefore, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
From earlier leaks, we know that the Ryzen 7 9800X3D scores 2,145 points in the Cinebench R23 single-core test and 23,315 points in the multi-core test. These results are 20 and 28% higher, respectively, than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. As for clock speeds, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is capable of running at 4.8 GHz on all cores in the Cinebench 2024 test. Thus, in multi-threaded mode, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is faster than its 400 MHz predecessor.
According to the latest rumors, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D will be presented this month, and may go on sale in early November. The announcement of the 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D is also expected. However, the release of older models is expected later.
